The development of a camper, both as an individual and as a member of the community, is a core aspect of the Chateaugay philosophy. Camp Chateaugay is a special place which our campers cherish throughout their lives.

One of our biggest responsibilities is to ensure that we provide the most nurturing staff possible, in a non-competitive environment. Our staff is comprised of mature, caring role models, who persuade campers to reach for life; to try new things and develop talents in favorite activities.

We strive to encourage campers to participate in activities, sports, and creative arts, so they may have an opportunity to witness first hand what they are capable of accomplishing. By supplying a strong emphasis on individual instruction and participation we provide our campers with the opportunity to improve their skills.
